Want Bike a bee to visit You?
Bike a Bee is expanding our educational offerings! Does your community garden, summer camp, classroom, after school crew or other organization want to learn more about bees? We offer visits for preschoolers all the way up to high schoolers.
We will talk about the pollination process, the importance of bees, and how we can all help care for the bees in Chicagoland. During the warm months, our handy little observation hive will be on-hand to safely observe a colony of bees hard at work, and we will bring local honey for everyone to taste, too!
We offer visits ranging from 30 minutes to an hour at sliding-scale prices, $60 to $120. Paying the full amount allows us contribute $20 to our Freebee Visit fund. That fund gives free visits to community groups that lack the budget for such programming 💕 If you cannot afford to pay, let us know and we can help.
