This extra special honey was made by bees placed at Breslin Farms’ certified organic land in Ottawa, IL. I asked farmer friend Paul Hoffman if I could bring some hives to forage on his organic buckwheat crop, and this beautiful mono-floral honey is the end result.

Our honey is never heated or micro-filtered and bottled by hand with loving care. Nothing is added and nothing is taken away. Your honey may arrive crystallized or hard. This is normal for unfiltered honey! You can gently re-liquify it by putting the jar in hot water or on a warm surface. Be careful though, heating honey past 110°F can destroy the flavor, enzymes and pre-biotic qualities of your honey.
